What is the knowledge center?
This is a collection of articles and papers strictly on the subject of investing. Similar to an investing library, each month we add different articles covering topics that will help you become a better investor.
Can I call you for financial advice?
Sorry but no. As much as we'd love to chat, we are strictly forbidden from giving you personalized investment advice about anything. For that kind of advice ask your stockbroker or financial advisor.
How do I get started?
Welcome to our family. Just take these five easy steps:
- You will receive an email that will provide your user name and password. Once you get the email simply visit www.thetrendrider.com/login.asp and enter your user name and password. You will be given immediate access to the website.
- Click on the "Model Portfolio" section so you can see what we're recommending. Some of the open positions are still in our buying range.
- Once you are on the website, add us to your favorites by clicking on the word "favorites" at the top of your web browser. Then click "add to favorites" and "okay".
- Take some time to familiarize yourself with the website by clicking on each tab such as the "Past Alerts" section where you can find all of our past trade alerts. It's easy.
- Start making money.
About The Trend Rider
What is The Trend Rider?
The Trend Rider is an independent trading firm that uses a proprietary modeling system to recommend stock and option trades to our members.
Since we recommend both stocks and options (most other services recommend only one) we're often called a "hybrid" trading system. We don't mind being called a hybrid system because we feel that any investor who has really generated awesome wealth already trades both stocks and options.
Our belief is why limit your upside on a stock trade to just 50% when you could record gains of 100%, 200% or even 300% with the corresponding option? Where else is it "normal" for you to make five, ten, even 20 times your money in a matter of months?
Or even better yet, why wouldn't you use options to collect an extra $5,000, $10,000, or $20,000 in income each month with your existing stock portfolio?
We believe that using a hybrid system enables us to offer our members the best chance to fully take advantage of all of the opportunities in the marketplace.
How exactly does your service work?
The Trend Rider was designed to work in four easy steps:
1. Check your e-mail for new trade alerts and review our half page recomendation. It will look something like this:
Buy: Nvidia 2006, June 30 call to open.
Option Symbol: UVA-FF
Underlying Stock Symbol: NVDA
Market: NASDAQ NM
Price: $8.70 (or better)
Order type: buy-limit / Day Order
Sector: Technology
Industry: Semi-Conductor/Specialized
Target: $10.00
Time Frame: 2-3 weeks
Assuming that you only want to buy one option contract which would cost $870.00 (each,)...
To execute this trade properly, call your broker and say:
"I would like to place a buy-limit order to buy one Nvidia 2006, June 30 call, to open, at 8.70. This is a Day order."
2. Decide if my recommendation is something you want to invest in (it's completely up to you!).
3. Place your trade online or with your broker.
4. Wait for your profits to pile up and fatten your portfolio.

What kind of securities do you recommend?
We recommend both stocks and options. We also recommend various strategies that combine both. The strategies will vary depending on what type of market that we are currently in.
Since we are traders here at The Trend Rider, our goal is to follow the trend so we are constantly evolving with the market. We are always reacting to what is currently going on, not what we think will eventually happen.
That is what we mean when we say that different markets call for different approaches.
Why can you only accept 2,000 members?
Because if we get too big we could artificially move the market. For example, if I accepted 10,000 members all chasing the same stock or option we would be competing against each other " " just like a bull in a China shop.
By accepting only 2,000 members, we could all work together without a stampede affecting the price of the options or stocks we like.
We also place strict rules on dissemination of information. In fact, anyone seen sharing trade recommendations outside their immediate family will have their membership revoked. We simply can't have any one person hurt the profits of the rest of our members.
How often do you publish Trade Alerts?
We publish trade alerts when and only when I think the time is right.
If you pay hard earned money for something you should expect to get your money's worth. There is a double edge sword here, because on one hand, I want to keep putting out recommendations regularly, on the other hand I don't want to reach to swing at pitches that are thrown on the outside of my strike zone for the sake of having a trade alert to send out.
I have several companies that I want to recommend trades on, but I have to see them come into my buying range first.
Keep in mind that there will be some weeks that I won't send our a single trade recommendation, and other weeks when I will send out several.

The text that you use is too small to read. Can I enlarge the reports so it's easy to see?
